Graduation Year: 2015

Field: General Medicine

Current position: Obstetrics, prenatal medicine and gynecology, Nürnberg

How did your career develop after graduating from FM HK?

After school, I didn’t even think about approaching my first job in the Czech Republic, due to discernation of the German healthcare system through Erasmus and internships in Germany. There is more structure in the area of pre-credential education. I sent a couple of CVs to various clinics that I chose according to my personal criteria. Well, what I didn’t know was that abroad, CVs are sent only after graduation, I already sent it during my 6th year, so I was passed for a hyperactive future colleague.

I got along very well with my first boss.

What comes up in your mind when you say the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové?

Super people, modern faculty with ties abroad. Na Kotli Dormitory is a phenomenal concept and I gained great experiences and deep memories there.

What experience associated with studying at the faculty do you remember the most?

I remember the exam period in the summer semester of my first year as I spent weeks studying 16 hours a day. Histology and anatomy are truly not a simple challenge for a freshman.

What do you consider to be the greatest success in your career so far?

As far as I know, I haven’t killed anyone yet. And I hope I have helped a few patients.

Career: I moved to one of the largest German obstetric clinics, I enjoy it.

What hobbies are you into in your free time?

I walk in the German Alps, clear my head there.
